Men Downhill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Starting with a sunny day and blue sky the Men´s Downhill had perfect conditions on Saturday.

The men competed as announced at 11:30 am. Due to a shortened track at the downhill training on Friday, the racetrack also only started at Tröglhang.

Local matador Thomas Dreßen (GER) won his second Worldcup race this season. Second was Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (NOR) +0,16 and third place took the French Athlete Johan Clarey (FRA) +0,17. Tomorrow, Men´s Giant slalom will take place as planned at 10:30 am.
