The Club 5 Ski Classics organisers met in Kaltern/South Tyrol

On 31 May the Club 5 Ski Classics organisers met for the first time in over two years of pandemic in Kaltern/South Tyrol for the "Restart Club5".

A few days after the FIS Congress in Milan with the re-election of President Johan Eliasch, the members of Club 5 Ski Classics met in South Tyrol to set the course for the 2022/23 season.

During the traditional spring meeting a wide range of issues were discussed.
In addition to talking about the history and vision of Club5, the TV rights and race calendars were discussed. It was very important to meet again after two years of pandemic, to get to know each other and exchange information.

"The members of the Club 5 Ski Classics must continue to work together to promote their interests, network and organise well among themselves and act as a unit vis-à-vis the FIS," said Club 5 President Srecko Medven.

The meeting, which was also attended by FIS race directors Markus Waldner, Hannes Trinkl and Peter Gerdol, could be held in presence again, to the delight of all participants.

The next meeting is expected to be held in Zurich during the FIS Autumn Meetings at the end of September. In this context, the workshop in Crans Montana will also be made up for.
