The World Cup winner is decided in Kranjska Gora

Austrian Marcel Hirscher has once again proven that he is the Champion.

He is leaving Kranjska Gora with magnificent feelings and memories. By winning 2 races, Hirscher has already secured the Small Crystal Globe in giant Slalom and slalom and for the 7th time in a row the Crystal globe in overall ranking.
The Vitranc Cup would not be the same without loud cheering. The fans − most of you have come from Slovenia, Austria and Italy − have once again proven that they know how to join forces and have supported each of the skiers.
The fans were especially loud yesterday in the finish area when they greeted and cheered Slovene alpine skier from the local club ASK Kranjska gora, Andrej Šporn who officially finished his competitive skiing career. His family, friends, teammates and the locals made sure that his farewell to competing was all the more emotional.

There wouldn’t be any Vitranc Cup without all the hardworking workers on and along the race track who each year, again and again, demonstrate that commitment, dedication and friendship are a key to success.
The Vitranc Cup is no longer just a sport, but also a party, so thanks also to everyone who made sure that this weekend everybody had great time in Kranjska Gora. The Vitranc Cup is a venue where great sports stories are written, where friends meet and where we witness the top performances on the Vitranc slope.
The Vitranc Cup is also a place where we are constantly tested by the weather, and which in the end, as confirmation that we are doing well, shows its most beautiful face. We started on the cloudy and snowy Saturday, and ended in the sunny weather on Sunday.
