Crazy weather didn't keep the spectators away

Adelboden

Strong gusts of wind, very mild temperatures for the GS on Saturday and a first very wet and snowy but later sunny Sunday: Weather played a major role in the 59th International Adelboden Ski Races on the famous Chuenisbärgli. Saslong 2014

Val Gardena/Gröden isn't Lourdes... or is it?

Two perfect races put an end to an organizationally and athletically thrilling week: in Nyman and Jansrud Val Gardena/Gröden had two worthy winners; Dominik Paris, a local favorite, made it on the podium twice; and, last but not least, record audience numbers were set on both Friday and Saturday.

Stefania Demetz: The Team Work Paid Off

"I saw a Tight-knit team..."

We enjoyed it as much as we suffered for it. Another successful World Cup in Val Gardena/Gröden can be filed away. Among the many challenges this year (i.e., lack of snow and warm temperatures), the Saslong Classic OC has pulled off the unimaginable to get the track in shape. It was a race against time, and the entire ski circuit is thankful for what we did to stage the regular Downhill and Super-G races.
