Madonna di Campiglio, 18 September 2024 - A new board was elected at the Club5 workshop in Madonna di Campiglio on Monday. In future, Rainer Senoner, President of the Saslong Classic Club and Race Director at the World Cup in Val Gardena, will be in charge of the association of classic World Cup venues. 19 organisers are now members of Club5.  

The duo Marius Robyr (president) and Hugo Steinegger (vice-president) have put their stamp on a magnificent new era of 18 years of World Cup skiing in Crans-Montana, culminating in the 2027 World Championships.

There was immense satisfaction for the athletes, teams and organising committee of the Soldeu 2024 World Cup this last weekend. Following the success of last year’s World Cup Finals, the ski circuit returned to Andorra.

Organisers and fans will remember the 84th Hahnenkamm Races for many years - thanks to Cyprien Sarrazin's fabulous run for the history books and Linus Strasser's home victory. 

The 94th International Lauberhorn Races has created new Lauberhorn legends. First and surely, the winner of the downhill, Marco Odermatt, and the winner of the super-G, Cyprien Sarrazin. On Sunday, Manuel Feller joined the ranks of Lauberhorn winners in the slalom. The setting was also legendary, with a total of 76,200 ski fans in attendance. The fantastic weather also contributed to the spectator record. 

On Saturday, 6 January 2024, 25’000 ski fans were able to watch Marco Odermatt successfully perform his hat-trick on the steep «Chuenisbärgli» slope in the sold-out arena.

3Tre’s 70th edition has been dominated by the formidable Austrian, the ultimate all-rounder in today’s alpine skiing, who, as of this evening, tops the overall World Cup standings. Leading after the first run, Clement Noel had to settle for second place, with Dave Ryding making a comeback for third.

Excitement was running high at the 2023 edition of the Critérium de la Première Neige in Val d’Isère, marking the long-awaited return of the women’s events after a year of absence.
