Since its inception on 2nd February 2014, the Ski Club has been at the service of winter sports, and that with great success. With a thirty-head coaching team, their main objective is to teach 250 children and young people the joy of skiing and train them to be successful winter athletes. Working along the lines of their club slogan, „Never rest on the laurels of success, always give the youngsters a chance“ has certainly paid dividends. The SGC was recognised for their “Best alpine youth work” for the eighth time in the 2011/12 season and classified as Bavaria’s absolute number one by the Bavarian Ski Association (BBV). Their key advantage lies in the diversity offered. In addition to alpine ski, cross country ski, biathlon and ski jumping, disciplines available also include freestyle/ snowboard and skicross.
Success is not the single most important factor for the Ski-Club. Camaraderie and hospitality are boosted by internal club events. The SGC currently has over 1,400 members.

Club 5 congratulates and wishes them continued success in the future!
