During the Autumn Conference there was a joint meeting of Club5 members. C5 President, Srecko Medven gave his report, as well as Managing Director, Hannes Huter. Club 5 finished the business year positively. A highlight was a study prepared by K.S.C. President Michael Huber, on the accomplishments of Club 5 World Cup organizers. Despite numerous cancellations, 58% of FIS-World Cup TV viewer ratings were achieved by Club 5 members. Huber analysed the best TV days and viewer ratings according to disciplines.
Club 5 members want long term planning; appropriate foresight should be exercised particularly with regards to budget planning. Cost increases, for example, need to be planned for in good time. A further matter that was dealt with was joint media relations. The Club 5 homepage will be updated in the coming weeks.
