FIS-Race Directors bid farewell

For many years, the Men’s World Cup venues were their second home. The Club 5 organizers bade farewell to Günther Hujara and Hans Pieren in Kranjska Gora.
It was a dignified and sincere farewell by the FIS Race Directors in Kranjska Gora. After the slalom winner’s ceremony, the whole piste team skied down to the finish area to say goodbye to FIS Chief Race Director Günther Hujara and FIS Race Director Hans Pieren with a handshake. President Srecko Medven delivered a speech in front of the spectators, athletes and many other Club 5 Ski Classics organizers and thanked them for their professional and friendly working relationship over the years.
Club 5 wishes Günther Hujara and Hans Pieren continued success and all organizers would be delighted to welcome them back as friends in the future.
