On January 28th and 29th, 2025, the night giant slalom and the 28th men's Nightrace took place on Planai. The atmosphere at the two nightraces on Planai was once again spectacular. Several thousand fans turned the Planai finish stadium into a “cauldron”.

Alexander Steen Olsen took the victory in the floodlight spectacle on Schladminger Planai on Tuesday after the opening race in Sölden. The Norwegian prevailed ahead of his compatriot Henrik Kristoffersen (+0,39) and the Swiss superstar Marco Odermatt (+0,60). Stefan Brennsteiner (+0,69) came in fifth, only nine hundredths short of the podium.

The Nightrace 29.01.2025
The Norwegian Timon Haugan was the fastest man on this day and took his first victory at the legendary Nightrace. He stood in the way of an Austrian double victory. Manuel Feller (+0,20) and Fabio Gstrein (+0,67) ensured a liberation for the Austrian slalom riders at the last race before the World Championships in Saalbach. The duo finished second and third on Wednesday, thus securing the first slalom podiums in red-white-red this season.
