1st training on Wednesday

Despite the bad weather situation on Saturday, 20‘800 ski fans flocked to Adelboden.After the official inspection of the slope, the jury has decided to cancel the giant slalom due to dense fog. Nevertheless, the atmosphere at the World Cup Village was hilarious and cheerful. 

Great work by the course preparation team, an amazing Aksel Lund Svindal who leaves everyone in the dust, and other highlights mark the 2015 edition of the Saslong Classic.

The annual Club 5 assembly outside of regular FIS meetings took place in Canada this year. On the suggestion of C5 member, Lake Louise, the "Calgary Stampede“ and „Spruce Meadows“ organizations were visited in addition to the planned workshop.

It was a fabulous summer’s day at the Hahnenkamm, perfect for welcoming the fastest in this season’s speed events to Kitzbühel for this „third public holiday“.

The 28th annual meeting of Club 5 Ski Classics, the association of the 16 most venerable organizers of World Cup ski races, took place during the FIS Calendar Conference which is held from June 3rd to 6th in Varna, Bulgaria.
